The CEDAC account is an account in convertible Algerian dinars opened in favor of non-resident foreign companies whose presence in Algeria is justified by a commercial contract duly signed with a contractor under Algerian law.
It is essentially open for the receipt of receipts of the transferable part covered by the contract.
It may be credited with any repatriation received from abroad as advances, transfers from another CEDAC account or payments in freely convertible currencies.
Holders can
transfer part or all of the available balance,
spend locally,
order transfers to another CEDAC account,
make advances to an INR account.
