Bank ABC (Arab Banking Corporation B.S.C), created in 1980 and based in Bahrain, is present in more than 17 countries of the Gulf, North Africa and the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Asia. Bank ABC is listed on the Bahrain Stock Exchange with its main shareholders being institutional investors such as the Central Bank of Libya and the Kuwaiti Investment Authority.
The group’s desire to meet the various needs of the Algerian market was materialized by the creation of a representative office in 1995, a presence that enabled Bank ABC (Arab Banking Corporation BSC) to develop and strengthen cooperation links with Algerian financial institutions.
Due to the growing interest that the Bank ABC Group carried and continues to show in the Algerian market, the representative office was transformed in December 1998 into a fully-fledged bank, by decision of September 24, 1998 of the Currency Council and the Credit. Thus was born Arab Banking Corporation – Algeria, designated under the trade name of Bank ABC Algeria which becomes, in fact, the first international private bank to settle in Algeria.
Its activity began on December 2, 1998 with the opening of its main agency in Bir Mourad Raïs. In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
